My November Plans: What Did and Did Not Happen

Image
Photo credit: 200degrees via Pixabay   This blog post is a follow-up to the post, “ Looking Forward to November .” I realize that I should have posted this update at the beginning of December, but I wanted to see how the month of December turned out in case I had any other updates about the items in that blog post.   And, at this point in the month, I can say with certainty what did happen that month, what eventually happened in the next month, and what won't happen at all this month or year.   First, I will start with the things that didn’t happen:   The new publishing division for Twisted Dreams Press did not happen in November 2025. We had a problem with the book we were trying to publish, and the author decided to abandon the project. There ARE other books scheduled for this division, but they are not ready to be released yet.   I DID start writing a novel in November but, unfortunately, I have not had the time since to FINISH writing it. Thankful Every Day

Image credit: Alexandra_Koch via Pixabay   Today may be a day for giving thanks, but I’m one of those people who practices gratitude every day. They say that the more often you give thanks for what you have, the more you will receive to be thankful for. I have found this to be true. And, yes, my son lost his dog, and this loss was a huge blow to all of us because we loved him so very much, but we are thankful that he wa...

It’s kinda weird writing this blog post. I just wrote another blog post where I summed up all the bad stuff that happened in October, as well as this year, so I was feeling pretty disheartened after I finished writing it.   Should I look forward to the new month that is upon us? There are some good things planned for the new month, so I would like to think I can at least feel a little bit of hope that next month will be better than this month.   I guess we will see!   I usually don’t want to jinx anything by mentioning plans, because then those plans won’t come about! I also believe that instead of talking about what you are going to do, you should talk about what you have done.   But I need to get ALL of this stuff out of my head and down on the, er, screen so that I can keep track of it all.   So, here is what is on the horizon for November:   The month of November will see the launch of a new publishing division at Twiste...
