Just Me

I just posted about the books I read this month. With this being the last day of the year, it's time to tally all the books I read this year! This was the whole point of keeping track of my reading progress on my blog. I wanted to keep track of books I read this year. Sadly, there is just one book I will not be able to finish reading tonight. It will go into my new reading journal as a book I finished reading next month. When I was counting up all the books read in all 12 blog posts, I found an error: Somehow or another, I got the numbers wrong! This started with the August blog post. I went back and fixed ALL of them. Now all of the correct numbers are in the posts from August to the present. I am just glad I still managed to read over 100 books this year! I beat my old record!   Before the new year rolled around, I decided to try completing a reading goal: Keep track of all the books I read this year. Not only this, but track them by number. I wasn’t going to once again try to read 100 books in one year, but since I have a penchant for counting things (I count the steps I take, the number of items in a box, etc.), I knew I would want to know how many books I DID manage to read by the end of the year. To save myself the arduous task of having to count them all on the list, I started keeping count of them with my list from the very beginning.   I am also not going to try to reach some kind of “magical number” of books read each month, but I was pleased to see that, once again, I did manage to read at least 10 books this month.
