Just Me

  Today was a good day. That opportunity I mentioned yesterday ended up being a bust. Oh well. It’s located in Virginia anyway. LOL I will see if I can find one that is local.   Despite that, I got in a lot of time to read today. And I got more writing done!   Here are five things I have to celebrate from my day.   1. I saw a beautiful sunrise this morning   2. I finally finished writing a chapter for a new nonfiction book I have been working on for some time. This chapter is 12 pages long!   3. I had been craving a roast beef sandwich for some time (yes, Arby's!) and my husband paid for it for me for dinner. Along with a chocolate shake!   4. I saw some very cool Halloween decorations at a store today. I was able to buy a few that were fortunately not expensive.   5. In addition to the Halloween stuff, I also bought a cute little scarecrow. Now to figure out where to put it!

  Today was a very nice Sunday. I got a lot of things done and even managed to have a “Sunday fun-day” with my youngest. And of course I made time for the animals, too! LOL   Here are 5 things to celebrate from my day today.   1. I posted the piece that I wrote yesterday. It's on my other blog here .   2. I saw beautiful sunrise clouds this morning and sunset clouds too. The picture at top is the sunrise clouds. Here are the sunset clouds I saw from the road.     3. I went for a VERY NICE long pleasure drive through the country with my youngest this evening. It was GREAT! I have been super nervous about two medical procedures I have scheduled tomorrow and I have been stressing out over it so this was just the medicine I needed. We saw lots of horses, cows and even some alpacas. It was just really relaxing and so soothing.   4. I hoped we were able to see a cemetery while we were out on our drive.
