Books Read in September
What happened? It was September 1st, I blinked, and then it’s September 30th! Wow. This month sure flew right by!
And it was a very busy month too. Not only was this Back-to-School month for my area, but things got busier than ever with the press. I also had a handful of medical appointments, deadlines to meet, and other writing/author-related responsibilities to attend to.
While some things I HOPED would happen this month didn’t pan out, some other things did, for which I am grateful.
In between all of the things I was busy with this month, I still made time to read. I kept up with my morning reading on most mornings, and I always ended my day reading on the couch or in my bed. And while I didn’t read or finish reading as many books as I would have liked to this month, I am grateful for the books I was still able to read.
All of this is to say that, this month, I read 7 books and I finished reading 3. Next month’s numbers will be better because I am currently reading several books, with more on the way, and I am almost done reading some of them.
In reviewing the list for this month, I was pleased to see that I did manage to read at least three poetry books this month, and that this list begins and ends with a writing book. I need to squeeze a history book into my reading routine somewhere!
Here are the following books that I read and finished reading this month. The number in the list picks up from where I left off last month, so the number of books I have read so far this year which is reflected in this list is accurate.
