Books Read in May

May was a great month for me! It’s my birthday month along with Mother’s Day, and both of those days were awesome.

May was always Short Story Month, and I enjoyed reading MANY fantastic short stories. I am still reading short story collections. I love reading short stories, so I grab these kinds of books to read any chance I can! (I also promoted my own short story collections and had two short stories published in anthologies. Woot!)

But the best thing about May is that not only did I reach my goal of reading 10 books in one month but I even read 12! Very cool!

This month’s reading is a nice mix of science fiction novels, short story collections, poetry books, a poetry and short story collection, horror and crime fiction.

So, without further ado, here are the 12 books I read in May:

51. If I Wasn't Sacred by Morgan Boyer

52. Nemesis by John Arkham

53. Midnight Mother by Desiree Horton

54. The Broonie and Other Dark Poems by Deborah Sheldon

55. Bodily Harm by Deborah Sheldon

56. Obsidian by Bryan W. Alaspa

57. I Will Be Free by Kelsie E. Stark

58. Liberty by John Arkham

59. Lupus in Fabula by Briar Ripley Page

60. The World Beneath: Splatter at Sea by Chisto Healy

61. The Squared Circle Human by Samantha Slaven

62. Written Tales Chapbook Volume XV: Echoes of Ink edited by Kevin Saitta
