8 Things to Celebrate From My Day
Today was a good day. I came across an opportunity that will require a 6-week commitment, with 5 weeks of training. I am seriously considering it. If I do, I start training for it tomorrow! I am excited about it. It's one Really Important Thing that I want to do this year. It has been a goal for a long time. I am going to sleep on it before I make a decision, but I am heavily leaning towards "yes." I don't want to talk about it yet but I'm definitely going to write about this experience in the event that I take it on. I probably will!
Meanwhile, here are eight things I have to celebrate from my day.
1. I finally finished writing an article that I have been working on all week. It was a lot of work and a lot of research. I posted it on my other blog and you can read it here.
2. I posted another article online. I wrote this article before I got sidelined with book revisions. Well, I'm back on my game now! So I posted it on Medium and you can read it here.
3. I got to see a friend who I haven't seen FOREVER today!! I was SO HAPPY to see him again. I was smiling as I ran up to hug him and I gave him a really big hug. We chatted briefly (our reunion was much too short!) but I hope to either see him again soon or stay connected with him online somehow (he isn't on Facebook, so I can't connect with him there).
4. I finished something else today: I finished reading a book. It is the third book in the Warriors series. Now on to Book 4!
5. I got an email from my publisher today, with updates about the book that is getting set up for the re-launch. I had a huge smile on my face after reading that email, because additionally I was given the invitation to submit more books. SO AWESOME! I’m gonna be book-busy for a while, I think.
6. My husband bought delicious chocolate chip cookies from the bakery today and they were sooo good. Yay!
7. I came across some smoothie recipes that look yummy. I can’t wait to try them!
8. I got a great pic of the moon tonight! Along with something that looks like a Romulan vessel....
