6 Things to Celebrate From My Day
Today was busy. I was driving around a lot because my oldest had appointments. I was also trying to get stuff done around the house. Still a good day! Everything went well and we got good results all around.
Here are six things I have to celebrate from my day...
1. IT'S DONE!!!! LOL I FINALLY finished writing up something I am adding to the new edition of the Tips book. I have been working on it for a while and I finally finished writing it this morning. YAY!!! I'm so happy and excited to get it done. It was the last "new" thing for this book! Now I can get back to writing the other Tips book and revising my chick lit story.
2. Today I want to celebrate my oldest, Centauri, for doing a good deed. He gave a bag of food to a homeless man. My heart was so full watching it happen. Very proud of my oldest for caring about others and showing compassion towards someone who is less fortunate than us. This is not the first time he has done this; he once baked a bunch of Christmas cookies one winter and handed them all out to the homeless. I am so happy to see what a caring individual he is. Much respect!
3. Saw a beautiful moon this evening. My youngest took a really good picture of it for me. Yay!!
4. I also want to celebrate that Centauri's COVID-19 test was NEGATIVE. Yay! He came down with a cold and developed a cough. Per his work guidelines, he was instructed to get tested for COVID-19 before he could return to work. And it was NEGATIVE! Woot! Well, there's always that risk of getting COVID-19 or one of the variants when you work outside of the home. I am glad that didn't happen in this case.
5. I drank 10 glasses of water today. OK, a little more than 10. Woot!
6. I would also like to celebrate being pain-free from the procedure today. Yay!! I am so glad that pain is gone. But I didn't do any jumping today; my legs were sore. I wonder if it's from exercising for an hour yesterday before I headed out for those procedures.
