6 Things to Celebrate From My Day
Today was another busy day. I am so ready for the weekend! But even so, I still managed to get some things done. And I still found some things to celebrate from today.
Here are six things:
1. This morning, I realized that I needed to put something into an article I am writing, but I couldn't figure out how to word it. Then I figured it out while I was driving this morning. Yay!
2. I kept forgetting things today and then remembering them again! I finally got to a point in my day where I remembered to do something for the umpteenth time and decided to DO THE THING before I forgot it again! (Add that info to the article, add a new section to a nonfiction book I am writing, add something to my journal entry from yesterday that I FORGOT to write – sigh! – as well as remembering a med time and answering emails.) Unfortunately, I did forget to do the yardwork before it got dark. Again. Drat!! Hopefully, I will remember tomorrow.
3. My youngest got to school early for a change today. Yay! We are still adjusting to the school morning routine but I think we are finally figuring it out.
4. My husband finally remembered to buy my vitamins today. Yay for finally having vitamins again!
5. I drank 10 glasses of water today.
6. One of the exercises that I do for my morning workout is lunges. I have struggled to do them, though, mainly because my balance is so bad. I have kept trying to do them, even when I kept losing my balance while doing them. But TODAY!! I was able to hold a lunge for 10 seconds WITHOUT losing my balance! YAY!!!! I was even able to do this TWICE! Up until then, I could only hold it for 5 seconds until I lost my balance. But today, I held it for 10! WOO-HOO!! I was soo excited afterward, just jumping and cheering. Now to get to 15!
