Books I Read – and Finished Reading – in January

It may be a new year, but I was still reading books this month which I had started reading in the previous month/year, as well as beyond.

Because these posts are meant to share about books (because booklovers are always interested in learning about other books they might want to read), these posts will include ALL books I have read, as well as those I finished reading, each month. I’m still reading a couple of other books I started reading this month which I have not finished yet (and my headaches won’t allow me to binge-read them before midnight!), so they too will go on a “finished reading” list.

As I looked over the list of books I have read this month, I noticed two things:

1.  I did not read 10 books this month, as I had hoped to.

2.  I did not finish every book I started reading this month, as I had also hoped to do.

These were two goals I had for my reading this year. But that’s not happening this month! Unfortunately, I have a multitude of things keeping me busy, plus my frequent headaches and the sleep disorder, so it made it a little hard for me to keep doing all the things that I wanted to do this month!

But I still have my reading habits! I’m still reading in the morning and at night, reading while waiting in the car, reading on several apps, and just reading whenever I have the free time to do so. So it’s not like I wasn’t reading much this month. Just not as much as I would have liked. Maybe next month!

Anyway, here are the books I read this month:

1. A Venture to Victory: 40 Lessons to Lead a Victorious Life by Shahid Pervaiz

2. This Wretched Valley by Jenny Kiefer

3. The 365 Day Leader by Dick Daniels

4. The Asylum by Matt Dymerski

5. Scalpel in the Eye by Jerry Blaze

6. The Horror in the Library and Other Stories by Sam Kurd

7. The Hidden Diary by Cassandra O'Sullivan Sachar

8. You're Going to Die Here by Y.M. Miller

And here are the books I finished reading this month:

To Hell With Hallmark by Brad Ricks

Resurrect Your Darlings by Cat Voleur
